I'm using it as an external SSD for the Sony PS5. I'm able to download and play my PS4 games directly off of this SSD without using the capacity of the super fast internal NVMe drive inside of the PS5. 2TB is perfect as it will allow for me to download many more games and not have to delete as often. This SSD runs cool and is lightweight. It's also about 2x faster than many external / internal 2.5" SSDs.
I connected my direct via the supplied USB-C-to-C cable to my Macbook Pro and measured 888.9 MB/s read and 844.2 MB/s write. This matches my expectations, as in my experience Speed typically measures 10-15% below manufacturer rated speeds.
Love this harddrive. I've owed alot in the past and this is the best so far. Very quick, very portable and light. Look forward to getting a larger capacity one when the prices drop a bit.
This is an amazing piece of kit: pocketable and with read/write speeds to rival a Macbook Pro's internal SSD. Copying large number of files or backing up a whole computer only takes a few minutes or even less.
Really like to size and feel of this product. very fast to copy files to, particularly my photos as backups. Highly portable, feels solid. Would buy again, in fact I am looking at the higher capacity to backup my whole machine.
This has significantly improved the performance of my 2013 iMac 2013. I use it to boot externally through the USB port. I now use the internal drive for my photos library. It is very small and lightweight and seems to be well built. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Great performance. Use with my MacBook Pro as a working disk for large files, and works really well. Much cheaper than crazy internal storage prices on Mac itself.

Used as expansion hard disk space for a Mac Book pro. Its physical size and storage capacity makes it ideal. Its also fast and seems robust. It did have to be reformatted to Mac format to make it fully compatible with the Mac Book.
Great replacement for a traditional hard disc. Adequate space, fast access and portable. Use it to store Lightroom image library which it does flawlessly. Highly recommended.
Works as it should the problem is I keep misplacing it because its so small. Easy enough to put in your pocket and strong enough to take a knock or two. A great piece of kit that has now replaced my old HD.
Amazingly small. Really fast data transfer from Mac OS or Windows OS. It comes ready to plug and play. I have transferred all my photos and music quickly and efficiently. No issues with the different operating systems in use. Well worth the investment. The best storage device Ive come across by far.
I can't believe just how small this thing is. It's basically just a little bigger than a dongle. The size barely increases with storage capacity too. It also looks nice too, if that's important.

Honestly, I was expecting something much much heavier and bigger but its extremely impressive how it has been able to fit 1TB into such a small form factor. Very fast read and write speeds.
Great value drive! It's fast, and I use it via usb3 for video editing and cache for Adobe. Very happy with it, and would recommend. It's made my work so much snappier.
I've not had it long yet but this is way better than an external SSD drive, much smaller and very light-weight. Handy little hoop too for transport. I've not done any speed tests but perfectly reasonable transfer speeds

Great performance for a small unit. The download speed is really impressive. I store mainly images in High Res so capacity and transfer speed are critical to my workflow. Small enough to fit in my camera bag but powerful enough to handle the largest of files efficiently.
Small enough to carry around to business meetings and with enough space to not keep running out every few days. Fast and reliable with excellent build quality.
Smart, neat design and easy to use. I bought it to speed up my horribly sluggish 2019 iMac and the difference it has made is incredible, its like my Mac is now on steroids. 1TB is plenty for what I need and is well priced for what it is. Would buy again.
One of my highlight purchases for 2019. I do a fair bit of photography and my Surface Pro was running out of space, I bought this as an external drive to host my lightroom database (cache+originals) and so far so good. It's fast, easy to transport and lightroom has been fine with it.
This piece of kit is absolutely fantastic. Read/write speeds are insane, and I had no idea just how small it would be until it arrived (can easily fit in any pocket. I just wish I hadve bought a larger size one because the value for money here is amazing.
Bought 2 of these, 1 for desktop - permanently mounted and 1 for laptop/travel - used to perform ad hoc and weekly backups. No problems mounting or setting up to use with Time Machine, first full backup took a little while but nowhere near as long as the Time Capsule (now defunct). This product was recommended by a family member, would recommend.

Really impressive transfer speeds over USB 3.0 for both read and write... I've noticed price has risen significantly since I purchased which is a reflection of market and popularity of this device... fast enough to stream significant sized Professional VST sample-based instruments.
Super compact and well built. Quick drive - I use it with a Mac for music samples and the like and they load very quickly. Cable which comes with it is meh and very short but I have some good USB C to A cables so swapped it out pretty much same day I got it. Thoroughly recommended.
I liked this, but then I can be quite geeky :-) It's fast (really fast), loads of capacity, looks ultra cool and is a hit with me, my Bank manager is less impressed however!!
Was able to snap this up during boxing day and what a find it was. Even for full price this SSD is very small, light and versatile. Read and write speeds are more than decent and it feels it could hold up to rugged environments if need be.

I formatted mine so no review of the included software (which was not for Mac anyway) but the device itself is great - reliably detects and mounts and is really splendidly quick in use.
Excellent product, just wish they brought this out years ago when I bought other storage drives, which I've since transferred the data from to this device and decommissioned the others as now not in use.
Brilliant product, bought a couple now. I use one of mine as an external boot drive for Mac OS on my older 2013 iMac, as well the usual file transfer etc. They just work, and work very well.
I bought this ssd basically for the fast data transfer and the portability off the product. It so small it doesnt take a lot of space, and the read and weight speed is incredible. My Best Buy so far for this year.
I am wary of backing up my personal data on the Cloud, so I bought this little device. My word! Is it quick! Megabytes get transferred in the blink of an eye. Super little thing, and very portable.
The built-in encryption system was confusing to use, and I finished up reformatting it in exFAT and just use it for storing my important files from my laptop. (Music, photos, downloads, documents etc)
I love this ssd. So small. I though it will be a bit bigger. Fast and light. Permanently attached to my laptop. Ideal to move big files or edit videos or photos.
This SSD Is tiny in size but big in capacity. It uploads and downloads quickly. It gets slightly warm but not enough to worry about. The only problem I can see in this is losing it.
Bought this so that photos taken with my phone (USB C) can be immediately saved and then transferred to my PC (USB 3) for processing later. Tons of room available.
The SSD was used to back up my Mac and worked easily and well with it. It is light weight so I will be carrying with me to back things up as I travel. I have only had it a short while hence why only 4* for durability. Will be better to judge this in 2 years.
A quick and reliable little drive that performs really well. I personally use it with my surface book 2. It's great for transferring large files and fast enough to install and play video games from it.
I used this to clone my 2017 iMac os to in an effort to speed things up, firstly the Mac will do all the work for you, (no need for third party software) and OMG it's so fast now I can't believe it!
